Our commitment to accessibility
We at The Scottish National Investment Bank are dedicated to ensuring our website is accessible to everyone, regardless of ability. We are continually working to improve the user experience for all visitors and strive to meet the latest accessibility standards.
The Scottish National Investment Bank is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018: https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2018/952/contents.
This website is run by The Scottish National Investment Bank.
Our accessibility goals
We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. This means you should be able to:
- Adjust the presentation: Change colours, contrast levels, and fonts to suit your needs.
- Zoom without loss of content: Zoom in up to 400% without text spilling off the screen or loss of functionality.
- Navigate with a keyboard: Use most of the website using only a keyboard. We ensure the keyboard focus indicator is always clearly visible and not obscured.
- Use assistive technologies: Navigate most of the website using speech recognition software and listen to content using a screen reader (including the latest versions of JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver).
- Clear focus: When navigating with a keyboard, the focus indicator will be clearly visible and not hidden by other content.
- Operate by pointer: For any drag-and-drop interactions, we will provide an alternative method that uses a single pointer (like a mouse or touch).
- Sufficient target size: Interactive elements like buttons and links are designed to be large enough for easy activation.
