Meet the team

Alison joined the Bank in September 2022 and leads the GLRC function which comprises governance, legal, risk (operational and investment) and compliance. The Bank has an outsourced Internal Audit function for which she is also responsible. 

Alison has over 30 years’ experience in financial services having held a variety of legal and governance roles in a number of financial services organisations. She is an experienced leader having held a number of senior leadership roles  most recently as Chief Legal Officer and member of the European Executive team for Aegon Asset Management Europe. Alison has extensive experience in the control functions area in financial services.  Alison is a qualified solicitor and was educated at the University of Aberdeen.
