I was looking to join an organisation that is aligned with my own values and interests. As someone who works in governance, I’ve always been drawn to businesses centered on ‘doing the right thing’ and the Bank’s Missions and values align with that. 

It feels like there’s a real opportunity for us to make a difference to Scotland and it’s rewarding to hear about the growing impact of the Bank’s investments. I’ve really enjoyed hearing directly from some of the investees on what our investment means to them. They are passionate about what they do and it’s good to see the ripple effect flow through.
