Zara brings two decades of experience advising entrepreneurs, high‑growth businesses, and investors across the UK and internationally on private equity and venture capital transactions. Her career reflects a long‑standing commitment to supporting innovative companies and the people who build them.

As a member of the Bank’s leadership team, she leads the Investment Legal function and provides strategic oversight of legal risk across the Bank’s investments. Working closely with origination and portfolio colleagues, Zara helps to structure, negotiate, and execute transactions that advance the Bank’s strategic missions. Known for her clarity, commercially attuned legal judgment, and collaborative style, she ensures each investment is both commercially effective and legally robust.
