About this report

Part 1 provides our report on mainstreaming the equality duty and our progress against the outcomes we set for 2025, as required by the Equality Act 2010. This section establishes the baseline from which we are developing our next set of outcomes.

Part 2 outlines the outcomes we will work towards in 2025-2029, detailing our goals and the actions we will take to achieve them.

When we talk about equality, we mean creating a fairer society where everyone has equal opportunity. Diversity is recognising, valuing and respecting each other’s differences, and inclusion is about an individual’s experience and creating an environment where everyone feels valued and included. As Scotland’s development bank, our ambition is to ‘Transform Scotland through our insight, investment, and impact.’ Promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion is essential to unlocking and maximising the potential of our people, communities, and businesses across Scotland.
